Mission Statement

Jennifer Poppy Ministries exists to empower women to walk in the Spirit and to live out the Truth of God’s Word.  Her hope is that teenage girls and women of all ages will go deeper with God, releasing them from a spirit of darkness and bondage into the glorious freedom of a life hidden in Christ


Faith Statement

Jennifer Poppy’s ministry is non-denominational in nature but is founded on the following beliefs:
* I believe in salvation by faith in Jesus Christ who was born of a virgin, lived a holy and blameless life, died on the cross as the substitute for our sin, rose again to claim victory over death through His resurrection.
* I believe salvation is an eternal gift that cannot be earned and that cannot be revoked once accepted.
* I believe in the sole authority of God's Word and its power to provide direction and purpose for our lives.
* I believe in the one, true, and living God, who exists in three divine, yet distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
* I believe the Holy Spirit permanently indwells all believers, fulfilling His regenerating work in our lives on a daily basis and molding us into the likeness of Jesus Christ.

ABOUT JENNIFER POPPY...


Jennifer attended church as a little girl and accepted Christ as her Savior at age 8. Her grandmother challenged her to memorize Jeremiah 29:11 by her 13th birthday. It wasn't until she was 16 that the words became real to her...she was in a major car accident, but her life was spared.


From that point forward Christ became not only her Savior but Lord of her life, and she knew that He had a plan to prosper her...not to harm her...and hope for a future. A month after her car accident Jennifer shared her testimony for the first time & it was in front of 500 campers at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. The Holy Spirit spoke through Jennifer that night & she knew that the Lord's will for her life was to share His Word with others for the rest of her life. That night Jennifer experienced another first by leading someone into a personal relationship with the Lord.

The gift of teaching & a heart of evangelism have been given to her from the power of the Holy Spirit. Since 1996 Jennifer's passion for the Lord and desire to share His truth with others have equipped her to write and teach Bible Studies, serve in youth ministries, speak in front of 100s of people and lead many to Christ.

Over the past year the Lord has taken her deeper in her walk with Him and into a greater experience of the Spirit’s power.  Jennifer has found great joy in the truth that our God is not a God in a box, whom we completely understand and grasp.  He is God of the universe, with power indescribable and He deserves our wholehearted devotion, not merely out of obligation, but out of complete and utter dependence on the revelation that He alone is worthy (Revelation 5).

She graduated with honors from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in December 2001 with a BA in Speech Communications and a minor in Spanish. She married her wonderful hubby Greg in April 2003.  They have been blessed with two sons, Bryan Gregory, whom they adopted in 2007; and Gabriel Elijah, who was born in 2008.  As their family has grown, so has their desire to raise up the next generation in the ways of the Lord (Deuteronomy 6).
